For many it is sometimes surprising that someone can set up a team for half an hour and then only watch the players’ actions – but this is the charm of Football Manager. And, most importantly, we don’t play on the pitch :).

The title issued by Sega is a full-fledged simulator – on our shoulders we have a whole range of duties that a manager has to do in the real world – we hire and fire players and staff, we care about players’ morale, we are responsible for training, tactics and scouting, we analyze hundreds of numbers that are present at every step (footballer’s attributes, statistics, results, tables, finances etc.). The number of options can be a headache, but the tutorial will help us in the first days at the club (the game is available in Polish). Football Manager is undoubtedly the best title on the market that deals with running a football team. Almost.īefore details, however, two words for people who have never had to deal with the series. The list of fixes is extensive, but they will not amaze anyone on their own – we are talking here about a comprehensive development of individual elements of the game, which makes up the image of an almost complete game. Nevertheless, it was with genuine pleasure that I discovered the next smaller and larger changes that were served by the specialists from SI Games. This statement should be borne in mind from the beginning so as not to be under the illusion that suddenly we have a breakthrough like the introduction of the 3D mode.

The new installment of the popular football manager series is not surprising. Does Football Manager 2016 follow this trend? Definitely yes. Launching the game is often associated with a feeling of déjà vu, but only the next few hours show that the specialists from SI Games were up to the task again. Hundreds of changes, smaller and larger additions, improved stability – the annual litany on the occasion of the premieres of subsequent Football Manager games is known to every fan.
